Food & Wine Appreciation Dinner 2011






A wonderful ANZ Bank/HKABA-SA Chapter Food & Wine Appreciation Dinner base around a nine course with 8 well-known South Australian Wines on Saturday, 11-06-2011. There are 145 guests gathering to one of the most well known Chinese Restaurant, Ming's Palace Chinese Restaurant.

Business Dating – 30 May 2011



The “Speed Business Dating” event jointly organised by Business SA and the Hong Kong Australia Business Association – SA Chapter (Association) held on 30 May 2011 at the Enterprise House was a success.

Members of the Association from different industries such as finance, property/construction, legal, accounting, and insurance attended the event.

The objective is to create business opportunities for members of the Association to tap into the Chinese business migrant market.  There will be another speed business dating event in the second half of the year.

Chinese Ambassador Welcome Dinner





On 13th May 2011,HKABA-SA jointly host the dinner with the new Chinese
Ambassador, Mr. Chen Yu Ming at the J restaurant on Grote St.
There are over 170 guests to join the dinner. Among, them, there are
Minister of Justice, Deputy Premier Mr. John Rau MP and many of the
government officials.
Our Chinese community has a good chance to mingle with the Ambassador to
discuss the potential of business opportunities between two countries.
We also invite our sponsor, ANZ and representative from Business SA to be
sitting with us.
